I may be in a position to finally upgrade my Toshiba 32 inch tube TV in a few months. I will probably be shopping for a 42 inch LCD. It got me thinking that the "unwashed-non-geek masses" will probably be pretty upset with their LCDTVs when they DON'T get the 10-20 years of use out of it like many of them are used to getting from there old tube sets. I've never owned an LCDTV but I have had several LCD PC displays. I love them but from what I've seen they don't usually last much beyond 5 years & many don't make it that long. Am I wrong about that?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
